Jaén, Spain. A portrait of Pedro Poveda is venerated in the following places:

Saint Andrew Parish. On February 13th of 1994, a portrait of Pedro Poveda, painted by Francisco Cerezo, was placed in the Church of St. Andrew at the request of the Governing Junta of the HOLY CHAPEL. Saint P. Poveda was a member of its brotherhood since 1916 until his death.

San Eufrasio Parish. A big picture, next to the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal.


Holy Family Parish, Vigo, Spain

On the tenth of October of 1995 Mons. José Cerviño Cerviño, Bishop of Tuy- Vigo, blessed and installed in this parish a portrait of Pedro Poveda for its veneration.  Later on a stain-glass window was also dedicated to Poveda.



Saint Patrick Parish Church, Santiago de Chile

On June 22nd of 1997 the Archbishop from Santiago, Cardinal Carlos Oviedo Cavada, placed a relic in the Church during a solemn ceremony.



Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites in Osorno, Chile

On November 23rd of 1999, in the reconstructed church of this monastery, a relic of Pedro Poveda was placed at the request of a co/founder, an alumna of the Santa Teresa Normal School.



Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

Saint Francis Xavier Parish, under the leadership of the Salesians, in the Ela Nguema Neighborhood: A mural that covers the whole apse has the full figure of Pedro Poveda among other saints, blessed, and venerable founders. It is the work of a Togo painter (1999)



Honavar, India, Catholic Diocese of Karwar

The first church in the world dedicated to Blessed Pedro Poveda was consecrated on April 25th of the year 2000. The church is the fruit of an idea by Bishop William D’Mello, a friend and a collaborator of the Teresian Association in India.  It is the result of years of dedication, collaboration and donations from the local community along with the generous donations from many parts of the world, from friends and acquaintances of the Teresian Association. Mons D’Mello himself donated a reliquary made of gold and placed the relic of Blessed Poveda for the veneration of the faithful in the new church.



Local headquarters of the Teresian Association in Valencia, Spain

A portrait of Saint Pedro Poveda is venerated in the headquarters of the Teresian Association in Valencia. The work of Soledad Gómez Gómez, a painter from Granada, Spain, a grand niece of the priest Felipe Mérida, cited by Flavia Paz Velázquez in her historic publication “Cuaderno Biográfico. En Los Cerros de Guadix”.
